[Lag Research] Informatii despre lag

Dear community,

in order to find ways to fight the lags a lot of you experience especially on Servers 1 and 2 we would like to ask you some questions which would help us in the hunt for the reasons and therefore in hopefully eliminating the reasons for those lags.

As we've been telling you, we tried to reproduce those issues and simply couldn't. It works fine for us, we can log in without any problems, also we do not experience any lags in gameplay on those servers. Also your Speedtests ( thank you again for those, you made us very jealous... :) ) unfortunately were mostly inconclusive as they just showed that a great majority of you have really powerful and fast internet so your internet connection could also be ruled out as a source of the problems.

Our technicians asked me to ask the following information of you:

-the exact time and date (e.g.: Sunday, xx.xx.xxxx, at 14:32 RO time) when you experience a lag
-what exactly did you to when you experienced the lag (login, playing in mapbla, doing this or that action)
-when does the lag stop (exact time as above, what actions have you done when it stopped)
-what server and channel were you on when it happened (e.g.: Server 5 Channel 2)
-how does the lag manifest (timeout when logging in, timeout for character selection screen, timeout after choosing the character, laggy movement ingame, etc.)
-if possible provide your IP address of that moment

Please note that answers like "all the time", "everyone", or "everywhere" will be ignored by our technicians as they do not help at all. They need exact answers. Please be specific, keep in mind that the more of you answer those questions in detail, the more likely it is our technicians can provide a solution for the issue. Therefore please only report stuff you know for sure and that actually happened and you know the answers to all of the questions mentioned above. It does not help us if you simply assume things.

For cross checking it would also help if players who do NOT encounter those lags (especially on Server 1 or 2) would also answer those questions, of course leaving the questions like "where did the lag occur and how did it manifest?" blank as they do not encounter them. So time, Ip, server and channel of those who encounter fluid, normal gameplay on those servers would help for cross checking and would therefore be appreciated.

Draga comunitate,

pentru a gasi solutii in lupta contra lagului pe care multi dintre voi il experimenteaza in special pe serverele 1 si 2, am dori sa va adresam cateva intrebari care ne vor ajuta sa vanam motivele care cauzeaza aceasta problema si totodata sa incercam sa le eliminam.

Asa cum v-am spus, incercam sa verificam aceste plangeri dar pur si simplu nu putem. Merge bine pentru noi, ne putem loga fara probleme si deasemenea nu experimentam niciun fel de lag in joc pe aceste servere. Testele voastre de pe Speedtest ( multumim inca odata pentru ele, ne-ati facut putin gelosi... :) ) din pacate nu au fost concludente deoarece ele au aratat doar cat de bun si rapid este internetul vostru, deci, internet-ul este scos din calculul acestei probleme de lag.

Tehnicienii mei m-au pus sa va rog sa ne dati urmatoarele informatii:

-data si ora exacta (ex: Duminica, xx.xx.xxxx, la 14:32 RO time) cand ati avut lag
-ce faceati exact cand s-a intamplat asta (login, jucam in harta bla, actiunea x sau actiunea y)
-cand a incetat sa mai fie lag (timpul exact ca si mai sus, ce actiune faceati cand a incetat)
-pe ce server s-a intamplat si pe ce ch (ex: Server 5, Canal 1)
-cum se comporta lagul (timeout la login, timeout la imaginea cu selectarea caracterului, timeout dupa selectarea caracterului, lag la miscarea in joc, etc.)
-daca este posibil, furnizati-ne adresa de IP pe care o aveati in acel moment.

Va rog sa luati la cunostinta ca raspunsurile "mereu", "oricine", sau "oriunde" vor fi ignorate de catre tehnicieni deoarece acestea nu vor ajuta deloc. Au nevoie de raspunsuri exacte. Va rugam sa fiti la subiect, tineti minte ca, cu cat raspundeti mai multi in detaliu la aceste intrebari, cu atat mai mult tehnicienii nostri vor gasi o modaliate pentru a rezolva problema. Drept urmare, va rugam sa raportati doar lucruri pe care le stiti cu siguranta si care s-au intamplat sigur, deasemenea sa stiti raspunsurile la toate intrebarile de mai sus. Nu ne ajuta deloc daca doar presupuneti anumite lucruri.

Pentru a suprapune verificarile, ne va ajuta deasemenea daca ne vor raspunde si jucatorii care nu intampina lag (in special pe serverele 1 si 2), bineinteles, lasand intrebarile ca "unde s-a intamplat lag-ul si cum s-a manifestat" necompletate deoarece nu aveti probleme. Deci, timpul, ip-ul si server-ul celor care intalnesc un joc normal pe aceste servere ne vor ajuta sa facem verificarile necesare si deasemenea vor fi apreciate.

Va rugam sa contribuiti pentru rezolvarea acestei probleme. Este foarte important atat pentru noi cat si pentru voi sa rezolvam cu lagul de pe servere.
