Often applications that do not match our needs reach us by mail or PM. In order to spare you the time and the disappointment we'd like to tell you, what a correct application looks like.

As you can see in the application tool when application rounds are opened we need to have some personal data of you such as:

• complete name
• mail address
• if you already have experience with being in GameForge teams
• gender
• date of birth
• ingame nickname
• which server do you play on?
• application text

If you do not fill in one of the fields mentioned above, you can not apply. Also we'd like to make sure you understand the following:

Many of you (more than 75% of the applicants) didn't even write more than two words in the application text. Many of you wrote stuff like "Make me GM pls" or "I like the game and i hate hackers". That is NOT sufficient. Mails without a sufficient application text will be deleted without answer in the next application rounds. Also mails with just one or two short sentences will be deleted without answer and not be taken into consideration.

My name is Tobias, I am 28 years old and work for Gameforge, the company that publishes Metin2 in Europe. Besides Metin2 I am Community Manager for 16 other games published by Gameforge such as Bitefight, Gladiatus, Ikariam, Warpfire and many more. As Community Manager I am supervising the team and relaying information about Updates, Features, etc. Also I am the direct interface to Gameforge.

I speak German and English fluently, also some Italian, Spanish, French and little bits of Romanian. If you want to contact me for any reason I'd prefer German or English since my knowledge of other languages would most likely not be sufficient for a fluent conversation though I usually understand you, when you contact me in the languages mentioned above.

Hi,

NEVER ever give your login data to ANYONE. The Metin2.ro Team will NEVER ask you for your login data, no official will EVER contact you and threaten you to delete or ban you if you don't give them your password.

Even if the nickname of those who contact you with such a threat seems to appear in the GM list in the board, no GM will ever do such things. So if something like this happens, please report the account to miaunet or badidol via Mail or PM. If you contact badidol, only contact him in english.

Va reamintim ca Echipa Metin2.Ro NU va cere NICIODATA datele de logare ale unui jucator. NICIODATA nu dati datele voastre NIMANUI, un membru oficial al echipei nu va ameninta niciodata un jucator ca primeste ban sau ca i se sterge contul daca nu i se dau datele, iteme sau altceva.

Chiar daca numele celor ce va contacteaza pentru astfel de lucruri seamana foarte bine cu cele care apar la Echipa GM-lor, acestia nu sunt GM pentru ca GM-ii nu fac astfel de lucruri. Daca se intampla sa vi se ceara datele contului luati legatura imediat cu miaunet sau badidol prin intermediul emailului sau pm-ului. Pe badidol va rugam sa il contactati numai in limba engleza.

Dear Users,

just to remind you once again, as stated in the Terms and Conditions modifying files of Metin2 is a crime and can be severely punished. Once the team finds out about someone modifying files or/and distributing them to other players all players using these files and the distributor of the files will be banned permanently without any chance of playing Metin2 anywhere again.

Also there can be legal charges.

Tinem sa va reamintim, asa cum este specificat si in Termenii si Conditiile Jocului Metin2, sa modifici sau sa editezi fisierele Jocului Metin2 este o infractiune ce se pedepseste grav. De indata ce Echipa afla ca cineva a modificat aceste fisiere si apoi s-a logat pe Joc sau le-a distribuit altor jucatori, toti cei care le vor folosi, chiar si distribuitorul acestora, vor fi banati permanent fara nicio alta sansa de a mai juca Metin2 pe nicio comunitate.

Daca aceste lucruri nu sunt respectate, se va actiona si pe cale legala.

De acum inainte nu v-om mai schimba sau corecta adresele voastre de email, este de datoria fiecarui utilizator

You can't seriously expect mails arrive to an address like:

Email addresses do not start with www.
A proper email address looks like this:

blabla_bla@blabla.com or blabla@blabla.com or bla.blabla@blabla.com

We can't and won't change dozens of mail addresses every day, so please check carefully how you register.

Zilnic primesc tone de plangeri referitoare la faptul ca nu primiti email cu link de validare.
O adresa de mail NU arata asa:

Adresele de email nu incep cu www.

Acestea sunt de gen blabla_bla@blabla.com sau blabla@blabla.com sau bla.blabla@blabla.com dar niciodata cu www. in fata.

Este imposibil sa modificam sute de adrese de email in fiecare zi pentru a va putea primi linkul de confirmare. Va rugam sa aveti mare atentie atunci cand va inregistrati si introduceti adresa de mail care NU trebuie sa aiba www. in fata.

Pretending to be a GM automatically leads to a permanent ban of all accounts.
Noone not on the list of Game Staff is a GM. Also a GM will never ask you for a password or your login data.
Also GMs will never drop items or promise you to do so.

Sa pretinzi a fi un membru al staff-ului si anume GM duce la un ban permanent pe toate conturile.
Cei ce nu se afla pe lista Echipei Jocului NU sunt GM. De asemenea un GM nu-ti va cere niciodata parola
sau datele de logare, nu va face Iteme cadou si nici nu va promite ca va face asta.

Limba oficiala este romana. Engleza este tolerata. Postarea in orice alta limba in afara acestora va fi urmata de rugamintea de a posta in romana sau engleza. Postarea repetata in alta limba poate duce la avertismente.

Este permis sa-ti inregistrezi si sa folosesti doar un cont pe forum. Inregistrarea si/sau folosirea mai multor conturi pe forum duce la un ban permanent al acestora. Echipa forumului (SMod/BA) trebuie sa fie informata, fara exceptii, daca doua sau mai multe conturi folosesc regulat, ocazional sau permanent acelasi IP. Nefacand acest lucru duce la un ban permanent al ambelor conturi.

Dupa primirea celui de-al 6-lea avertisment, un cont poate fi banat cel putin 7 zile. In cazuri extreme, chiar mai mult. In cazul unui ban, nu se admite ca userul cu pricina sa se inregistreze cu un al doilea cont. Un cont risca sa fie banat permanent daca userul primeste din nou avertismente dupa ce acesta a fost deblocat.

In cazuri extreme, ce vor fi atent studiate, membri pot lua de asemenea ban atat in joc cat si pe IRC. Acelasi lucru se va aplica si viceversa.
Regulile se aplica pentru mesajele de pe forum si mesajele private (PMs).

Forumul intreg include Termenii si Conditiile jocului Metin2. In consecinta se vor aplica legile germane asupra forumului. Aceasta inseamna de asemenea ca proprietarii Metin2Ro nu sunt responsabili de nicio imagine sau link care au copyright, postate de membri forumului.

Nu este permisa comercializarea pe bani reali a contului sau a itemelor (arme, Yang, armuri). Facand astfel, sau doar incercand sa faci acest lucru poti fi sanctionat atat in joc, cat si pe forum cu ban permanent, de asemenea se poate actiona si pe cale legala.

Este interzisă accesarea site-urilor Gameforge prin intermediul serviciilor de tip Proxy si duce la banarea contului respectiv.

Atitudinea pe forum :

Pentru a garanta o atmosfera relaxanta intre toti participantii forumului sunt necesare cerinte minime de conduita.

Sunt interzise posturile cu continut sau linkuri de tip pornografic, politica extremista, material imoral si ofensiv. De asemenea sunt interzise posturile care contin coduri de activare, crack-uri, hacks sau orice altceva de natura ilegala, incluzand pagini de download ilegal si warez

De asemenea este interzis sa postezi continuturi care au copyright.

Nu este permisa postarea de orice fel de discutie personala si privata, fara consimtamantul tuturor partilor implicate.

Nu este permisa postarea consecutiva de doua sau mai multe ori in mai putin de 24 de ore de catre acelasi utilizator al forumului. Fiecare post poate fi editat timp de 60 de minute dupa ce acest termen expira si postati in continuarea primului post fara ca un alt utilizator al forumului sa o faca se va considera "Postare Dubla" si va fi sanctionat ca atare.

Nu este permisa postarea de continuturi care nu corespund cu tema topicului/sectiunii si nerespectarea acestei reguli duce la un avertisment. Exceptie postarile din sectiunea Spam. Acestea includ posturile care doar avertizeaza nerespectarea unei reguli.

Spamul cu emoticons sau imagini nu este permisa deoarece acestea pot ingreuna incarcarea calculatorului persoanelor. Imaginile sau postarile care depasesc limitele regulamentare (exemplu : un membru trebuie sa se deplaseze vertical si/sau orizontal pentru a putea citi tot acel post, postarile facute in intregime cu CAPS LOCK etc.) nu sunt permise. Se admit un numar maxim de 6 emoticoane/post.
Pot fi atasate sau adaugate imagini in continutul unui post, dar acestea nu trebuie sa depaseasca urmatoarele masuri:
Height: 600 pixeli
Width: 600 pixeli
Si marimea de 200 kb fiecare.
Totodata numarul maxim admis de imagini este 2, daca aveti mai multe imagini pe care trebuie sa le postati va rog folositi link extern.

Continuturile, linkurile, nume de membrii etc. cu unicul obiectiv de a deranja sau insulta alti membrii ai forumului sunt interzise in aceasta comunitate. Acelasi lucru se aplica si in postarile/mesajele care au ca obiectiv sa aprinda ceilalti membrii pentru a deranja si/sau insulta.

Nu este permis sa folosesti un limbaj neadecvat si/sau insulte.

Reclama si/sau linkurile catre alte jocuri online, care nu apartin de GameForge, nu sunt permise pe tot forumul. Linkurile catre jocuri cu tinta de a numara fiecare vizitator nu este permisa. (Bite Links)

Nu este permisa postarea in numele unuia dintre membrii care au fost banati. Incalcarea acestei reguli va fi sanctionata cu o avertizare. Impartirea contului cu un membru banat duce la un ban permanent pe ambele conturi.

Este interzisa impersonarea unui membru din echipa. Aceasta include nume, avatar, semnatura, etc. Acest lucru duce la o avertizare, iar in cazuri extreme poate duce la un ban pe forum , joc , mirc.

Este interzisa abuzarea de butonul Report.

Nu este permisa discutarea unui ban (forum, joc sau IRC) pe forum. Pentru asta trebuie sa intri in contact, utilizand E-Mailul sau Mesajele Private(PM), cu Game Masterul sau Moderatorul implicat sau cu un superior de-al lui.

Semnaturi si avatare:

Imaginile din semnatura nu trebuie sa depaseasca urmatoarele masuri:
Inaltime: 100 pixeli
Lungime: 500 pixeli
sau
Inaltime: 150 pixeli
Lungime: 450 pixeli
sau
Inaltime: 200 pixeli
Lungime: 400 pixeli

Marimea in toate cazurile nu trebuie sa depaseasca 100 kb.

Nu sunt permise nici semnaturi nici avatare care contin animatii.

Puteti folosi la semnatura si texte in limba engleza, atat timp cat nu sunt cuvinte vulgare sau obscene.

Echipa forumului si Responsabilitatile membrilor:

Fiecare participant al forumului are datoria de a respecta Regulamentul acestuia. Daca te simti avertizat pe nedrept, prima data contacteaza Moderatorul care ti-a dat avertismentul. Ulterior trebuie sa contactezi Super-Moderatorul. In cazuri extreme ai dreptul de a vorbi cu Board Administratorul. Ultimul cuvant il au Board Administratorii.

Urmeaza aceeasi procedura si daca un topic de-al tau este inchis. Va rugam sa nu deschideti mai multe thread-uri cu aceeasi tema si incercati sa folositi butonul search.

Acumularea de avertismente duce la un ban temporar pe forum. Fiecare caz va fi analizat individual. Inregistrarea unui alt cont in timpul suspendarii va fi sanctionata cu un ban permanent. In cazuri extreme un membru poate fi sanctionat cu un ban fara sa mai primeasca avertismente.

Note

Administratorii forumului au dreptul de a bana (semnaturi si membri), sau schimba numele membrilor si/sau titlurile personalizate.
- Plangerile asupra unui MOD se duc catre SMOD.
- Plangerile asupra unui SMOD se duc catre BA.
- Plangerile asupra unui Administrator al Forumului se duc catre Team Manager.
- Plangerile asupra unui Team Manager se duc catre Community Manager (CoMa).

All users accept with their registration a set of rules. The board team reserves it's rights to warn, censor and ban users that break the following rules.

The official language is Romanian. English is tolerated. Posting in any other language than those to will lead to the board team asking you to write in Romanian or English. Repeated offense may lead to warnings.

Every user has the right to create 1 forum account, having multiple accounts is not allowed and it's punished with permanent ban of the accounts, The Board team must be informed, without exceptions if two or more accounts often, ocasionally or permanently the same IP adress.

In extreme cases that will be defined in every specified case members can be banned in game or in the IRC chat, same thing applyies vice versa. Rules apply also in private messages (Pm's).

The board includes the T&C of metin2.ro game. In consequence the german rules will apply in this board.

You are not allowed to sell your account or ingame items such as weapons or armors or Yang. Doing so or even trying to do so leads to a permanent ban from the game and board and can also have legal consequences.

Required attitude on the board:

To guarantee a relaxing atmosphere between all board participants are necessary minimum behaviour requirements.

Posts with pornographic content or links, immoral or offensive material, extremist politics aren't allowed. Also posts that contain activation codes, cracks, hacks or anything of illegal nature, that includes illegal download pages and warez.

Consecutive posting (2 or more) of the same user in the same thread in less than 24 hours. Every post can be edited for 60 min, after the time expires and you post until a second user does it it's considered double posting and it will be punished like so.

The posting of contents that doesn't match with the subject of the topic/section and disregarding of this rule may lead to a warn.

Emoticons/image spam : 6 emoticons/post including images.

Contents, links, name member etc. with the only objective to throw into disorder or to insult other member of to community is strictly forbidden. Same things applyes in posts&pm's.
It's not allowed to use insults or licentious words.

Advertisment and /or links to other games online that don't are published by GameForge are not permitted in the entire board, also Bite Links.

Posting in behalf of a banned user is not allowed. Disregarding of this rule will be punished with a warn. Sharing an account with a banned user leads to permanent ban for both (all involved) accounts.

Impersonatting a staff member is forbidden, this includes nick name, avatar, signatura, etc. This leads to warning and in extreme casses to the ban of the account.

The abuse of Report button is forbidden.

Warning's and ban of the accounts (board/game/IRC) aren't discussed on the board. For this you have to contact using email or PM's, the GM or Mod involved, or a superior of them.

Signatures&Avatars

Images from signatures aren't allowed to exceed the following:

Height: 100 pixels
Length: 500 pixels
or
Height: 150 pixels
Length: 450 pixels
or
Height: 200 pixels
Lenght: 400 pixels

Size in all cases isn't allowed to exceed 100 kb.

Animated signatures or avatars aren't allowed.

You can use the signature and text in English, as long as words are not vulgar or obscene.

Board Team and their responsabilities

Every board user has the liability to respect it's Rule Board. If you feel warned unjustified, first contact the Mod that warned you. If his oppinion doesn't change you'll have to contact the Smod. In extreme casses you can talk with the Ba and explain them the certain situation.
Follow the same procedure if one of your threads is closed. Please do not open various threads with the same problem and try to use the search button.

Repeated warnings leads to temporary ban of the account on the board. Every case will be individually analised. Registering a new account during the suspending period will be sanctioned with permanent ban of the accounts. In extreme casses a member's account can be banned without any further warnings.

Notes

The board administrators have the right to ban (signatures and members) or to change the nickname's of the member and/or their individual rank title.

- Complaints about a Mod go to the Smod
- Complaints about a Smod go to the BA
- Complaints about a BA go to a Team Manager.
- Complaints about a Team Manager go to the Community Manager (CoMa).
